Water Polo Strength Off-season training programme
Water Polo Strength is a 12-week training programme, based at the Sports Science Institute for Cape Town-based high school water polo players. This land-based programme is structured and periodised to develop foundational strength and power in the pool for the upcoming season.
Sign up for our Water Polo Strength programme, starting on 13 April 2026 until 3 July 2026. This 3 month programme includes the following:
- 2 sessions per week in the HPC gym
- 24 group based training sessions in total
- Choice between timeslots:
- First 8 weeks - Monday and Wednesday at 4pm; OR Tuesday and Thursday at 4pm
- Load monitoring and evaluation by our High Performance Centre sports scientist.
- Initial and post-programme assessments
- Periodised programming
- u/15 - u/19
- Cost: R3900 (for the full 12 weeks)
