NHH Physiotherapists

We are a physiotherapy service with a special interest in the heart and lungs. We are dedicated to improving breathing efficiency and overall cardiorespiratory health. While we are widely recognised for our work in complex heart and lunch conditions, breathing pattern disorders, and post-hospital rehabilitation, we also have a strong focus on respiratory optimization in athletes.

From elite performers seeking a competitive edge, to individuals managing chronic breathlessness or recovering from serious illness, we tailor our approach to meet your unique needs.

The initial consultation lasts for roughly 60 minutes and is where we go through your goals, medical history, dietary history, training programme (if applicable), and any other relevant factors. Depending on your goals, we may take measurements using our Tanita bioelectrical impedance scale or we may look at blood test results. Once we have gathered all your information, we will go away and draw up your individualized eating plan and email it to you within 2-3 working days.
A follow-up appointment may be necessary. During a follow-up, we will assess the changes that you have made and your progress toward your goals and discuss any further changes that you may need.

The initial consultation (60 minutes + individualised eating plan) is R1575

A 30-minute follow-up is R575

A 15-20 minute follow-up is R395

A tailored nutrition consultation (no meal plan included), 60 minutes, is R750
