
Water Polo Strength Off-season training programme
Water Polo Strength is a 16-week off-season training programme, based at the Sports Science Institute for Cape Town-based high school water polo players. This land-based programme is structured and periodised to develop foundational strength and power in the pool for the upcoming season.
Sign up for our first Water Polo Strength programme, starting on 14 April 2025 until 1 August 2025.. This 4 month programme includes the following:
- 2 sessions per week in the HPC gym (32 in total), with a choice of either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday sessions at 4pm.
- Load monitoring and evaluation by our High Performance Centre sports scientist.
- Initial and post-programme assessments
- Periodised programming
- u/15 - u/19
- Cost: R3620 (for the full 4 months)
