TRIATHLON TRAINING PROGRAMMES (TRI-Fit)

Our 8 or 11 week TRI-Fit triathlon programme at the Sport Science Institute of South Africa (SSISA) will help you complete a triathlon to the best of your ability. This programme is specifically focussed to help you train smart for a 3-discipline event, and to decrease your risk of over-training or sustaining an injury. We will make sure that you are confident in your swimming, cycling and running by the end of this journey with us. 

 

 OUR TRI-Fit PROGRAMME INCLUDES:

  • Pre- and Post-fitness testing. (Body Composition, Evaluation of mobility and stability, Aerobic fitness)
  • 8 or 11 weeks of 2-3 Coach led sessions per week including swimming, cycling and running with Biokineticists from the SSISA High Performance Centre.
  • Complete weekly training programme including off site sessions
  • Dietary Q & A session
  • Race day support and guidance
  • Post-race prize giving
  • Option of joining the SSISA’s Fitness Centre at comprehensive rate during TRI-Fit
  • TRI-Fit starter pack with product/vouchers from; Cadence, Speedo, Olympic Cycles and SSISA valued at R2700
