The Tri-Fit programme at the Sports Science Institute is a 16 week group triathlon training programme that is perfect for beginner triathletes or those looking to better their previous triathlon times.
The programme focuses on all three disciplines and includes appropriate strength training which is essential for increasing overall performance.
We have set the 16 week programme to begin on 19 July 2022 and take you right through to October 2022, just in time for the Mossel Bay 70.3 Ironman event. The programme designed by biokineticist Ciara Botha is periodised and structured, meaning throughout the 16 weeks you will focus on different phases of training: base, strength, power and recovery. These cycles will be built into the 16 week programme to appropriately get you ready for race day.
With this programme you will receive:
You will have access to the following at the Sports Science Institute for a monthly debit order of R1,588 p/m for four months.
If you are looking to sign up to this programme, please fill out your details in the form on this page or contact us at info@ssisa.com and one of our friendly sales consultants will be in touch.
The Sports Science Institute only offers programmes that have substantial research and scientific backing, it is not only our responsibility to set the standard in the industry but to make high level training accessible to everyone invested in the sport, not only professional athletes.
