INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN EXERCISE AND SPORTS SCIENCE?New revamped Biokinetics honours course launched by UCT Exercise Science and Sports Medicine Unit
The Exercise Science and Sports Medicine Research Unit of the University of Cape Town is thrilled to announce the newly updated and revised BSc Med Hons Exercise Science (Biokinetics) course being offered in 2010.
This course is designed to prepare students for the profession of biokinetics, which has three main focus areas; health promotion, prevention of disease and/or injury and rehabilitation of disease and/or injury. After the training and an internship, students will be able to register as an intern biokineticist with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Requirements for this degree include an undergraduate degree (e.g. BSc / BComm/BA) specialising in Human Movement Science.
